The Website
We will design your web site to meet your individual requirements. This would typically include photographs, your logo, maps or Google Maps plus, of course, details of your products and services.
Hosting
Once produced your web site needs to be made available on the Internet. We provide a professional hosting service with the cost included in your package price.
Our hosting used SSD storage(*) and the security of an SSL certificate(**)
On-Going Maintenance
A maintenance package can be included as part of your Hosting
Changes to your site over time, such as changes in prices will be handled at no extra charge.
Domain Name
You will need a domain name (such as selectinternet.co.uk) to be able to access your Web Site. We will register a domain for you at no extra charge.
You can have virtually any domain name (as long, of course, as it is not already registered by someone else).
Search engines
Many people find Web Sites using search engines, by far the most popular being Google. Your site will be designed in a manner that it is accessible through search engines.
E-mail facilities are included at no extra charge.
Technical support
All of the technical aspects of your site will be taken care of for you. However, we offer full support in case you have any problems or questions.
(*) - We use SSD (solid state drives) rather than conventional discs for your website and associated material. SSD drives have no moving parts so are faster and more reliable than conventional discs.
(**) - An SSL certificate provides added security for your users. The "http:" will be replaced by "https:" indicating that the communication between the user and your website is encrypted and secure. As well as re-assuring your users, this encryption is favoured by Google.
